Media and communications group, Freshwater UK, has appointed a senior developer to join its expanding digital team and help deliver its growing list of bespoke digital projects.
The appointment of Nik Rimington, 30, from Buckinghamshire, follows the news the Cardiff-headquartered group has secured a place on all three of the Welsh Government’s digital lots, including digital strategy, digital creative and digital marketing.
Mr Rimington joins with more than seven years’ experience in the technical industry, working for global companies, including TTi Global Ltd and Andrews Computer Services Ltd.
An Umbraco certified developer, Mr Rimington’s expertise includes .NET development, comprehensive software programming languages including C#, test driven development (TDD) and database design.
Mr Rimington said: “It’s an exciting time for me to join a company with a growing digital repertoire and making the move to the capital city of Wales. It’s fantastic to be part of a passionate team that provides a full-service to clients across the UK.
Mr Rimington will play a key role in ensuring Freshwater’s digital consultancy draws on the latest programming knowledge and provides practical support and digital creativity to its 200-plus clients.
