Curvissa Curve Project

Client Curvissa challenged Freshwater to create a buzz around the launch of its Spring / Summer 2014 womenswear collection, generate content for use across multiple channels and increase awareness of the brand among influential plus size fashion bloggers. We established a strategic partnership with Curve Project London - the UK’s first intensive body confidence workshop – to launch the collection at a unique event. We invited some of UK’s top plus size bloggers based on factors such as reach, influence, editorial style and digital rankings to the event and also coordinated social media competitions to recruit real women to attend. The result was over a hundred posts on various social media channels including Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and the personal blogs of the attendees, as well as coverage from plus size magazine Curvaceous Inc. Post-event, the activity generated additional coverage opportunities as the Curvissa press office received multiple requests for brand images or samples from the new look book from both bloggers and the media.
