Freshwater secured an opportunity for online fashion client bonprix.co.uk to sponsor and support the 2014 Wear It For Autism catwalk show including at-event branding, social media mentions and of course that all-important slot on the catwalk itself!
We worked with organiser, Tesco Mum of the Year winner, Anna Kennedy, in advance of the event and provided support on the day.
Competition winners were each given a full makeover before being dressed by celebrity stylist Lewis-Duncan Weedon in pieces from bonprix’s AW14 eveningwear collection. They then strutted their stuff on the Wear It For Autism catwalk.
The evening, which took place at the Millennium Hotel in Knightsbridge, was attended by celebrity guests including Mitch Winehouse, father of Amy, ex-Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips, and model and TV presenter Amy Willerton.
In addition to showcasing bonprix’s AW14 collection to the 200 plus guests, the sponsorship agreement also generated positive coverage on social media and in the press both pre and post-event, as well as linking the brand to a well-supported charitable cause.
