Spirit of Speyside

Freshwater was asked to raise the awareness of the Spirit of Speyside Festival, Launch the Chef of the Year competition and attract potential competitors, as well as to establish the quality of Speyside produce and the way food and whisky ‘blend’ together.

With a reasonably tight budget we undertook a number of small PR imitative. We organised a food/whisky photo call with a celebrity chef, worked closely with partner distilleries, ran promotions with key target media, including STV and the Scottish Daily Mail.

During the six month campaign we secured coverage in more than 40 key target publications representing PR value of more than £150,000 and an ROI of 30:1.
