Stewart Brewing

Stewart Brewing approached Freshwater with the brief to raise awareness and position the company as Edinburgh’s only independent brewery, and to launch the brewery’s new bottled range.

With just three months to develop and implement the campaign we undertook a number of activities including comprehensive media liaison targeting consumer food news columns, drinks writers and selling in feature ideas. We hosted a media event to launch the new bottle range and brewery open day for the public, carried out a detailed trade campaign pushing both on and off trade sales and raised local awareness and support by promoting the brewery’s sponsorship of the local rugby team amongst other things.

This strategy saw the team secure coverage in key target publications including; Off Licence News, Business 7, The Grocer, Morning Advertiser, and The Publican to name just a few, with an overall ROI of 25:1.
