When the South West Wales Tourism Partnership (SWWTP) announced its new project aimed at strengthening the food tourism offer in the region – it really whet our appetite.
With a target of securing interest from 40 local food producers and hospitality providers to embark on visits to explore how partners across the EU develop their local food culture, we coordinated an opening conference to launch ‘Taste Local’ to the region. In addition to brand development and event management, we designed a portfolio of collateral including print and postal invitations, event programmes and a conference set.
Twelve months later, all 40 bursary places were secured. To highlight the success of the project, we coordinated and managed the Taste Local closing conference. We also filmed a number of participating businesses to showcase case study videos at the event, which was attended by more than 100 delegates.
High praise from the client really was the icing on the cake.
