The Freshwater team was challenged to use the Walkers Sensations TV Now Awards to generate targeted brand awareness, establish Walkers Sensations as the title sponsor for the event and to use the event as a platform to develop a strategic PR campaign.

After negotiating the title sponsorship – The Walkers Sensations TV NOW Awards – in order to maximise brand mentions in all media coverage, the team created an overarching theme for the awards to tie the event firmly to the Sensations brand.

The results were outstanding with awareness of the Sensations brand rising to its highest ever level of 73% amongst consumers. In addition, sales of Walkers Sensations reached a record high and became the number one brand in sharing crisps in both value and volume.
