Donate Wales asked Freshwater to devise and implement a campaign to encourage people to sign up to the organ donor register.

We used social media to ensure a targeted route to groups typically remote from the charity; Facebook, Twitter, an online blog and YouTube activity complemented marketing, website design, proximity marketing (a Bluetooth campaign), stakeholder engagement, TV, radio and online advertising to reinforce key messages and provide a direct call to action.

Results included 2,500 additional people joining the organ donor register compared with the same period the previous year, and, a 658% increase in hits to the website during the campaign activity.
